The GM Chamber of Commerce Golf Society
The GM Chamber of Commerce Golf Society gives you the opportunity to play 18 holes of competitive golf with like-minded business people, in a relaxed environment.
Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and Jennifer Shaw Events are pleased to announce the dates for our main Golf Society 2012 season.
Golf events are a great way to do business, an ideal networking opportunity and can assist you with setting up business meetings on the golf course.
Golfing with a business associate is a good way to build relationships and to make new business contacts; some of the biggest deals have been done on the golf course!
In the fifth year of managing the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce Golf Society, Jennifer is looking forward to the 2012 season ahead.

Sponsorship
Sponsorship of a GM Chamber Golf Society meeting is a low cost way to create visibility and traffic for your organization. Sponsorship starts at just £300. This pays for the day’s prizes and trophies which are branded with your logo and company name.
Your brand is promoted whenever the Golf Society events are. We use media including http://www.gmchamber.co.uk/services/greater-manchester-chamber-of-commerce-golf-society, 53 Degrees Magazine, Manchester Professionals, LinkedIn, Twitter and Eventbrite.
Sponsors will have a presence on the day of the Golf Society Meeting and will be encouraged to publicise and give a presentation about their company.

A golf society for beginners
In an initiative aimed at introducing golf to beginners, Jennifer Shaw Events (who manages the main GM Chamber Golf Society) is pleased to manage the GM Chamber of Commerce's 'The Learner Drivers Club'.
'The Learner Drivers Club' encourages people to develop new, profitable relationships by sharing a common interest - learning the game of golf!
Aimed at business people and professionals, 'The Learner Drivers Club' breaks the mould of traditional golf clubs or societies by focusing on people with little or no golfing experience. Using a mixture of driving ranges and academy golf courses, 'The Learner Drivers Club' brings together people of similar experience levels, under the watchful eye of professional instructors.

The HTI (Household Textiles Industry) Golf Day was founded in 1991 by John Shaw of Pavilion Textiles.
The HTI Golf Day continues to grow, bringing together Directors, employees and decision makers of companies associated with the household textile industry.
Format of the Day includes
Coffee and bacon sandwiches on arrival
13 hole Singles Stableford for the Tony Taylor Trophy – ¾ handicap
